Karlene is an international woman and radio show host. She quit her corporate job via jet plane in 2003 to create a freedom-based lifestyle, not quite knowing what that would be.

After returning home from 6 years of working for international government and travelling independently, all her friends told her that they wanted to do what she did, which was to travel and work. She then realized that she had been living out other people’s fantasies all this time. Eight years later, she finally figured out what she wants to be when she grows up, and is now living the life of her dreams.

She now combines her love of travel, teaching, and technology as a freedom business coach, working with long-term travellers, wanderlusts, and anyone else who wants to create a virtual, location-free business, through her signature program Project Go Travel.

Karlene is an author, designer, solo traveller, and cultural creative. She lives in Toronto and occasionally in other parts of the world.
